Strip or Street!?Which is Heat?

The debate continues..... Street or track? How many times have you argued with friends about which is better and why? Which involves more skill? Can cars handle the harsh conditions of street racing? Where do real racers bring the heat? Some say its only called racing when you leave your rubber on the street, others say real racers only race on the track. Lets hear what your thoughts are on "The Situation."

  1. Street is the way to go, old school knows best, shit drivers having bad accidents is why street racing has a bad rep!

  7. As much as we all love the streets and its convenience, the reality is Strip is better! Even if you might be a great driver there are other idiots and unlicenced drivers on the road who think they're shit hot at racing...but they not, and because of these guys accidents happen, I've seen it with my own two eyes many times and sometimes not only is your pride and joy totalled but ives are lost too. I wouldnt want to be put behind bars for man slaughter just coz I was trying to prove that Toyota is faster than any Vtec and ran over a spectator crossing the road. At the illegal races there are sometimes hundreds of people that stand along the roadside watching cars race past at speeds in excess of 160km/h..it's shit waitng to happen !
So be mature, and try keep it at the Strip as much as possible! Way more fun and not only are you proving who has the faster car but you can also see what 1/4 mile times you are running in a safe race prepped enviroment !

  17. We'll, I'd say Zwartkops, Midvaal, Kyalami are light years more fun, safe and action filled than the losers who wast cash on being street ricing losers.....they are all waste of life that do it, shud rather be removed from earth as innocent people get injured and killed by their stupid actions, and the spectators to street events are just as guilty of this illigal actions....they should also be prosecuted....

  19. nah...i say TRACK FTMW! Street racing's purse man. so unsafe, I myself used to do the whole street thing. But the newbies just be messing up the scene, always wanting to prove something. And also too much politics, guys cant take a lose then u will hear different stories the next day. For instance i KNOW i won, but then this other fellow would say he won. Then it also, nah u jump me before i was ready or no my launch wasnt good...shut up and just accept that you lost or whatever the case is. Bring it to the strip, where its timed and theres no arguing bout who won n who lost!

  31. Thanks for the feedback everyone! The response was awesome!!! I think its pretty clear that real racers settle it at the tracks, although a "lil dice" on the street is always fun, our actions have repercussions and as adults we have responsibilities, so have your fun but always remember to keep it safe!
    Awe!
